Exploratory Research
The Exploratory Research initiative is focused on the continuous discovery, development, and diffusion of compelling uses of personal and interpersonal computing power for an increasing number of users.
The scope of this effort encompasses futuristic explorations in each of the initiative areas noted on this site with additional and special emphasis in the areas of Advanced Human I/O for PCs, SW Agent-Assisted Information Management, Information Exchange, and PC-enchanced Socialization.
To fulfill this exploratory mission, computer scientists, researchers, and marketers in this area work with members of key industry associations and leading university research institutions. We invite advanced users to learn more about our efforts by participating in the evaluation of a sampling of our experimental technologies found on this site.
